How we produce HUCX panels

As a factory-made building element, HUCX structural insulated panels (SIPs) offer many time-saving, money-saving and planet-saving benefits across all of our production phases.

The Design Phase

Like all well-executed projects, we start with a clear and detailed plan.

Therefore, to build your unique house using HUCX panels, we use your design plans (architectural or technical drawings) to produce the right wall, floor and roof components to the correct shapes and sizes you need.

To kickstart your project with an exact quote for producing your insulated panels, please send us your technical drawings in IFC electronic file format.

The Transformation Phase

Next, we employ our HUCX Panel Building System (a proprietary software we’ve developed over many years) to instantly transform your plans into digital ‘cutting files’ that represent each panel.

These important files instruct our factory machines and personnel to accurately manufacture each wall, floor and roof panel – complete with doors, windows and utility connections in place.

We’ve cleverly optimised our HUCX building system for quality, safety and output. Our efficient workflow speeds up your panel production and pre-assembly of services, reducing the workload and time needed for trades at your building site.

The Manufacturing Phase

Our lean factory process is fast and efficient. We require less time, labour, materials and resources to pre-fabricate panels than conventional on-site construction. So, HUCX panels are cost-effective to produce, making your new home more economical to build.

Every step in your HUCX panel construction is sustainable. Our low-carbon factory and building system limit harmful emissions by reducing transportation energy needed for labour and supplies. Plus, we cut panels precisely and use excess materials to drastically reduce waste going into landfill.

Because we pre-fabricate HUCX panels inside a factory, our workers and machinery are protected from weather-related delays and other supply chain disruptions – saving you months on your build schedule.

Delivery To Your Site

When finished and checked, we transport your flat-packed HUCX panels to your new address for rapid on-site assembly by your builder.

Houses assembled from HUCX insulated panels are thermally efficient to ‘passive house’ standards, so they require minimal mechanical heating and cooling. In short, your new house will consume less energy and won’t pollute the environment.

Plus, our attention to detail and material choices for our pre-fabricated panels create a high-functioning building that’s energy efficient. With lower running costs, your home will continue to save you money over its lifetime.
